Job summary

Swift Cargo is seeking a sales/BD professional with Freight Forwarding experience to drive business development across the Hyderabad region. You will lead a sales team, onboard and mentor members, build relationships with shippers, forwarders, and CHAs, and ensure revenue targets are met.

Responsibilities include generating leads, submitting quotations, guiding daily operations, and coordinating with reporting heads to review performance and collections, while maintaining high quality customer

Qualifications

• Freight forwarding industry experience.
• Ability to recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new sales team members.
• Proven track record in acquiring new customers and expanding market presence.
• Strong leadership and team performance management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the branch.

• Recruiting, onboarding, training, & mentoring new sales team members to ensure that they are equipped with the required product & process knowledge & sales skills to achieve business growth & revenue targets.
• Helping the team successfully get business from new & existing customers.
• Helping the team build rapport & establish long term relationships with customers.
• Developing & implementing effective business development strategies to acquire new customers & expand the branch's market presence.
• Exploring business opportunities & generating sales leads from shippers, forwarders & CHAs effectively.
• Analysing market trends & implementing effective measures for penetrating business.
• Overseeing daily operations, staff performance, & financial goals for Bangalore, primarily focusing on driving sales, ensuring high-quality customer service, & enforcing company policies.
• Facilitating prompt preparation & submission of quotation/RFQ to customers.
• Ensuring submission of sales/division reports to reporting head at regular intervals.
• Facilitating timely follow-up on collections from customers.
• Conducting regular review meetings with the team & enhance performance.
