Job Title: Asst. Sales Manager Freight Forwarding
Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new business from importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders, and e-commerce companies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
• Promote freight forwarding services such as:
  • Air freight
  • Sea freight (FCL/LCL)
  • Road transportation
  • Customs clearance
  • Warehousing
  • Door-to-door logistics

• Prepare quotations and negotiate freight rates, credit terms, and commercial conditions with customers.
• Coordinate with the operations, pricing, documentation, and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Visit customers regularly and understand their logistics requirements.
• Identify potential customers through market research, references, cold calling, networking, and industry contacts.
• Maintain a sales pipeline and provide regular reports on leads, opportunities, conversions, revenue, and target achievement.
• Monitor competitors, market rates, and changing customer requirements.
• Handle customer complaints and work with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Develop long-term customer relationships and increase business through cross-selling and upselling.
• Follow up on outstanding payments in coordination with the finance team.

Skills usually required
