Job summary

Mecanor Machines in India seeks a proactive Sales Executive to drive new business, present products, and close orders through field visits and strong client engagement.

The role involves handling inquiries, preparing quotations, and maintaining relationships for repeat business. Fresh graduates with strong communication and willingness to travel are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or business development, preferably in machinery, industrial products or B2B sales.
• Freshers with strong communication skills can apply.
• Good communication and negotiation in English (and Tamil) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business by finding and following up on leads and client visits.
• Present Mecanor Machines' products and explain features and benefits.
• Prepare quotations and follow up until order closes.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers for repeat business.
• Handle enquiries from calls, emails and other channels promptly.
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Keep records of leads, visits and sales activity and report progress.

Role & responsibilities:

• Generate new business by finding and following up on leads, and by visiting prospective customers
• Present Mecanor Machines' products to clients and explain their features and benefits
• Prepare and share quotations, and follow up until the order closes
• Build and maintain good relationships with existing customers for repeat business
• Handle enquiries from calls, emails and other channels promptly
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Keep records of leads, visits and sales activity, and report progress to your reporting manager

Preferred candidate profile:

• Experience in sales or business development, preferably in machinery, industrial products or B2B sales (freshers with strong communication skills can also apply)
• Good communication and negotiation skills in Tamil and English
• Willing to travel for client meetings and field visits
• Self-motivated and target-driven, with good follow-up discipline
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and email
• Candidates from Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem and Karur are welcome to apply
• Any degree or diploma; a BE/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical is an added advantage
