Job summary

Cotton Concepts in India’s Kerala region seeks a proactive sales professional to expand the retail distribution network across the assigned territory. You will identify and onboard distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners to strengthen market coverage and drive channel growth.

You will build lasting relationships, achieve sales targets, conduct market visits, implement promotions, and coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure product availability and timely order

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the retail distribution network within the assigned territory.
• Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners to strengthen market coverage.
• Generate new business by onboarding retail outlets, supermarkets, pharmacies, modern trade stores, and other potential sales channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers to ensure sustainable business growth.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned by the management.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor product availability, merchandising standards, and competitor activities.
• Implement trade promotions, product launches, and marketing initiatives to increase product visibility and sales.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy distributor and retailer accounts.
• Prepare daily visit reports, sales reports, market intelligence reports, and territory performance updates.
• Identify market opportunities, customer requirements, and emerging trends to support business expansion.
• Coordinate closely with the Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure timely product availability and order fulfillment.
• Represent the company professionally while maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering excellent service.
