Job summary

Sone India in Bengaluru is seeking a Sales Engineer with foundational welding process knowledge to engage customers, explain equipment specs, and drive sales of resistance welding machines, servo guns, controllers and nut welders.

You will travel frequently across Bengaluru, visit customers, coordinate with service teams, and prepare sales analyses using MS Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of welding process engineering, including resistance welding machines such as servo guns, welding controllers, and nut welders.
• Generate sales enquiries by visiting existing and potential customers.
• Clarify and explain technical specifications of required equipment to customers.
• Understand and demonstrate knowledge of spot welding, sheet metal processing, and welding quality equipment.
• Apply fundamental sales skills, including customer communication and relationship building.
• Lead and participate in sales negotiations.
• Assist in the execution of sales strategies and educate customers on machine requirements.
• Prepare and maintain sales analysis reports and visit summaries.
• Schedule and manage customer appointments for sales discussions.
• Coordinate with the service team to resolve customer issues related to sales.
• Be ready for frequent travel across Bangalore for sales activities.
• Utilize computer tools effectively, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
