Job summary

Sone India is seeking a Service Engineer with strong knowledge of welding processes and installation at customer sites. The role covers process engineering, preventive maintenance, and process improvements in spot welding and sheet metal production.

Candidates should be familiar with welding quality equipment, jig fixtures, and basic NDT concepts. You will also prepare service analyses and manage appointment scheduling and visit documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding processes and equipment.
• Experience with resistance and spot welding recommended.
• Familiarity with jig fixtures and basic tooling.

Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of Weld Process engineering and responsible for installation and commissioning at customer sites.
• Monitoring equipment and machinery performance and developing preventive maintenance.
• Kaizen and improvements in welding processes at customer sites.
• Knowledge of spot welding and sheet metal processes and associated quality equipment.
• Destructive and non-destructive testing basics for spot welding.
• Prepare service analyses and post-visit reports for customers.
• Coordinate service appointments for customers and sales activities.
• Maintain service visit records and files.

Job description

Job Responsibility:

• Basic knowledge of Weld Process engineering (resistance welding machine like servo gun, welding controller, nut welder) and responsible for installation and commissioning in different -different customer places.


• Monitoring equipment and machinery performance and developing preventative maintenance measures.


• Kaizen and new improvement in existing welding process in different-different customer places.


• Must have good knowledge of Spot welding, sheet metal process & welding Quality equipment.


• Basics knowledge of destructive & Non-Destructive test of spot welding.


• Welding Process Engineering, Basics of Jigs and Fixtures, Geometric


• Candidate must have good knowledge of all resistance welding machine.


• Participated in execution of service strategies to improve product life and educate customer how to use product.


• Preparation of service analysis, as well as service reports after service visit to customer end.


• Responsible for taking appointments for different customers for service and sales activity.


• Responsible for maintaining files of service visit record.
