Job summary

E CON PACKAGING is seeking a results-driven sales and marketing professional to drive business growth in the industrial packaging sector. The role focuses on developing strategies, expanding the customer base, and maintaining strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key accounts.

You will identify opportunities, prepare quotations, negotiate terms, coordinate cross-functionally for timely order execution, and support product launches based on market needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base across target markets and industries.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, key accounts, dealers, and distributors.
• Generate new leads through customer visits, market research, networking, exhibitions, and other promotional activities.
• Prepare and submit quotations, pricing proposals, and commercial offers in accordance with approved company guidelines.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial conditions to secure profitable business.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchase, Quality, and Dispatch teams to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer requirements, and business opportunities.
• Achieve sales targets, monitor sales performance, and contribute to overall business growth.
• Handle customer queries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and effective follow-up.
• Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, sales performance reports, and other management reports as required.
• Support new product development, product launches, and marketing initiatives based on customer and market requirements.
• Recommend potential customers, dealers, distributors, and new markets to expand the company's business.
• Guide and supervise the marketing team, where applicable, to achieve departmental objectives.
• Undertake customer visits and other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience in sales and marketing, preferably in industrial packaging, industrial drums, manufacturing, or related B2B industries.
• Strong skills in business development, customer relationship management, and lead generation.
• Experience in preparing quotations, negotiating commercial terms, and managing customer accounts.
• Good communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, sales reporting, and MIS preparation.
