Job summary

Global Packaging Automation in Chennai, India, seeks an experienced sales professional for industrial packaging solutions. You will finalize deals, build product knowledge, and nurture key accounts across target industries, driving new client acquisition while retaining existing customers.

The role requires 2+ years in packaging sales, strong communication/presentation skills, and readiness to travel with a two-wheeler.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial packaging sales.
• Experience with strapping machines/tools, carton sealing (taping) machines, stretch wrapping machines, and related consumables is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
• Must own a two-wheeler and be open to frequent travel.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Purchase and User departments to finalize sales deals.
• Build strong product knowledge across packaging machines, tools, and consumables.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
• Identify market opportunities and recommend strategies to improve sales and profitability.
• Drive new client acquisition while retaining existing customers.
• Prepare quotations, schedule meetings, and conduct product demonstrations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective post-sales support.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
• Meet or exceed product sales targets
• Support initiatives that enhance product profitability
• Drive product growth in assigned regions or key accounts
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
