Job summary

Multichem Group in Mumbai Suburban is seeking a Sales Coordinator & Specification to drive lead generation, customer outreach, and specification support for the sales function. This role requires close coordination with customers, vendors, and internal teams to turn inquiries into orders and ensure smooth follow-through until payment collection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in sales coordination, specification, or inside sales.

Responsibilities

• Generate new inquiries and leads in India and abroad to grow the customer base.
• Prepare and support presentations to vendors and prospective clients to promote products and win new business.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and customers to get products specified and provide technical information.
• Follow up on inquiries and maintain an up-to-date tracker from first contact to closure.
• Coordinate with channel/sales agents and internal teams to resolve queries promptly.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of orders after customer confirmation.
• Track payment status post-order and coordinate with accounts for timely payment collection.
• Maintain sales and inquiry data and prepare regular reports on leads, orders, and payments.
• Act as the primary liaison among customers, vendors, agents, and internal departments throughout the sales cycle.

Multichem Group is seeking a Sales Coordinator & Specification to drive lead generation, customer outreach, and specification support for the sales function. This position involves close coordination with customers, vendors, and internal teams to convert inquiries into orders and ensure smooth follow-through until payment collection.

• Generate new inquiries and leads, and connect with and invite new customers in India and abroad to grow the customer base
• Prepare and support presentations to vendors and prospective clients to promote products and win new business
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and customers to get products specified, and provide technical and product information to support the specification process
• Follow up on all inquiries received and maintain an up-to-date inquiry tracker so every lead is monitored from first contact through closure
• Follow up on queries raised by channel/sales agents and ensure timely resolution in coordination with relevant internal teams
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing of orders once confirmed by the customer
• Follow up with customers over calls to track payment status once an order is processed, and coordinate closely with the accounts team to ensure timely and accurate payment collection
• Maintain sales and inquiry data, and prepare regular reports and updates on leads, orders, and payment status
• Act as the point of contact between customers, vendors, agents, and internal departments, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the sales cycle

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field; graduates from other disciplines may also be considered.
• 1-4 years of experience in sales coordination, specification, or inside sales, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment (freshers with a strong performance track record may also be considered)
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
