Job summary

Fanuc in Pune, India, is seeking a proactive Sales Support professional to assist the sales team with day-to-day operations, order processing, and customer data management. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the sales team with day-to-day operations.
• Prepare and process sales orders, quotations, and invoices.
• New customer registration & database management.
• Maintain and update customer databases and SAP-CRM systems.
• Communicate with clients regarding order status, delivery schedules, and after-sales support.
• Follow up on outstanding payments with customers and coordinate with the finance team.
• Liaise with logistics, finance, and production teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate billing.
• Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and presentations.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Track sales targets and report on performance metrics.
• Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments for product availability, lead times, and technical clarifications.
• Assist in preparing and submitting commercial proposals.
• Maintain records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Monitor and follow up on pending quotations and ensure timely closure.
• Organize and support customer visits, exhibitions, and trade shows.
• Ensure compliance with internal sales processes and documentation standards.
• Provide administrative support for sales meetings, reviews, and audits.
