Job summary

Elmack Engg Services in Chennai is seeking a Sales Support professional to assist and coordinate the sales team in preparing quotations, proposals, and invoices, while handling customer queries. You will maintain CRM data, manage new customer setups, and follow up on feedback to ensure satisfaction.

You will also generate regular sales reports, support meetings, prepare presentations, and liaise with internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years experience in sales support or related roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field.
• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering would be advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

1. Sales Support

• Assist and coordinate the sales team and customer in preparing and issuing sales quotations, proposals, and invoices.
• Handle and resolve customer queries regarding products, orders, and services.

2. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

• Maintain a CRM system, ensuring that all sales activities, customer interactions, and order information are up to date.
• Assist in managing customer accounts, including new customer setup, updating contact details, and recording customer preferences.
• Follow up on customer feedback and after-sales support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

3. Sales Reporting

• Assist in generating regular sales reports for the Sales Manager and management team.

4. Coordination and Communication

• Act as a point of contact between the sales team, and other internal teams.
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks like scheduling meetings, preparing sales presentations, and drafting correspondence.

Preferred candidate profile

• Min. 3 to 7 years experience
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Diploma/ BE/ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related field would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Hindi speaking would be advantageous.
