Job summary

XEXAGON in Ahmedabad is seeking a proactive Sales Support Executive to drive techno-commercial quotations and coordinate end-to-end order processing. You will support the sales team, manage inquiries, and maintain accurate customer records across ERP systems.

You will coordinate with design, production, and dispatch teams to ensure on-time delivery, generate reports, and assist accounts with payment follow-ups. Strong communication and multitasking are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
• Experience with quotation preparation and order processing.
• Ability to follow up quotations, inquiries and orders.
• Familiarity with ERP software and MS Office tools.
• Basic understanding of electrical automation products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit techno-commercial quotations based on customer requirements.
• Follow up on quotations, inquiries, and pending orders.
• Support the sales team in achieving sales targets and business objectives.
• Maintain and update customer databases, inquiry logs, and sales records.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and meetings.
• Coordinate with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and documentation.
• Resolve customer concerns by coordinating with internal departments.
• Prepare sales orders and ensure accurate order entry into ERP/software systems.
• Coordinate with design, production, purchase, and dispatch teams for timely execution of orders.
• Monitor order progress and communicate updates to customers.
• Generate MIS reports, sales reports, order status reports, and forecast reports.
• Maintain records of quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and correspondence.
• Prepare tender documents and support bid submissions when required.
• Coordinate with engineering teams for technical clarifications.
• Work closely with production and planning departments to meet delivery commitments.
• Assist the accounts team regarding customer payment follow-ups.
