Job summary

WIKA Group in Maharashtra, India is seeking a seasoned sales professional with a BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical and 10-12 years of sales experience to drive local product initiatives and expand market share.

You will support product changes, promotions, and launches, work with outdoor sales teams, and provide market intelligence to shape global PM and MSM strategies while promoting value to customers.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical with 10-12 years of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Support local Product Change notification and Product Discontinuation to organization/customer.
• Support first level onsite technical and commercial to outdoor sales team.
• Help increase margins by highlighting value to customers and sales team.
• Contribute to opportunities funnel, hit-rate ratio, profitability and revenue on sub region level.
• Promote new offerings, marketing campaigns and product launches to grow local market share.
• Coordinate visits with ASM and participate in trade shows and conferences.
• Provide training on the job to ASM on applications and technology.
• Offer technical support at customer sites for issues and complaints.

Your activities

• Supports TI- and Product Modification Process in addition to the back-office team
• Drive local Product Change notification and Product Discontinuation to organization/customer
• Supports first level onsite technical and commercial to outdoor sales team
• Responsible maintaining and increasing of margins by highlighting value to customers and sales team
• Contributes to opportunities funnel, hit-rate ratio, profitability and revenue on sub region level
• Increases the local market share of the product by promotion of new offerings, marketing campaigns and product launches
• aligned with global PM / MSM
• New product development feedback from Market to Global PM and MSM
• Combined visits with ASM
• Participation on specific trade shows and conferences, local execution of online activities
• Training on the job of ASM on applications, technology, ways how to approach customers create interest and add value
• Provides market intelligence on the local competition and market conditions (Technical/Price Matrix, Order analysis Won / Lost)
• Supports the creation of product/application notes (customer view)
• Technical support at customer site for technical complains
