Job summary

Synechron is seeking an RPGLE Developer in India with 4-10 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain RPGLE-based applications on IBM i (AS/400). The role involves analyzing requirements, coding in RPGLE/ILE RPG, and delivering robust solutions from inception to production, across Noida, Pune, or Bangalore.

You will collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders, participate in code reviews, and support deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in RPGLE, ILE RPG, Free Format RPG, CLLE, and DB2/400.
• Good understanding of IBM i (AS/400) environment.
• Experience in application maintenance, enhancements, and production support.
• Knowledge of SQL, embedded SQL, and database design concepts.
• Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and incident resolution.
• Understanding of SDLC, change management, and version control processes.

Key Responsibilities
