Job summary

Ashwini Infradevelopments is seeking a Road Site Engineer to supervise road construction activities, ensure adherence to drawings and specifications, and coordinate with clients and consultants. The role requires planning daily site operations, monitoring progress, supervising pavement works (GSB, WMM, DLC, DBM, BC, PQC), and conducting levels with Auto Level.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel and ERP is essential.

Qualifications

• Execute and supervise road construction activities as per drawings and specs.
• Plan and monitor daily site activities to meet project timelines.
• Prepare daily progress reports and track progress vs plan.
• Carry out quantity measurements and prepare RA Bills.
• Coordinate with clients/consultants for joint measurements.
• Monitor quality of materials and workmanship per project specs.
• Use AutoCAD, MS Excel and ERP for reporting and data management.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise road construction activities as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Plan and monitor daily site activities to achieve project timelines.
• Supervise pavement works including GSB, WMM, DLC, DBM, BC and PQC.
• Conduct site surveying and take levels using Auto Level.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, BOQ and specifications.
• Prepare daily progress reports and monitor planned vs. actual progress.
• Carry out quantity measurements and prepare RA Bills and measurement sheets.
• Coordinate and conduct joint measurements with the client/consultant.
• Monitor quality of materials and workmanship as per project specifications.
• Coordinate material requirements, deliveries and on-site material management.
• Manage site labour, subcontractors and manpower deployment.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other site teams.
• Ensure proper utilization of construction machinery and resources.
• Monitor site safety practices and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Maintain site records, measurement books, checklists and quality documentation.
• Prepare work schedules and coordinate activities to avoid delays.
• Use AutoCAD, MS Excel and ERP for drawings, reporting and project data management.
• Identify site issues, resolve technical problems and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure works are completed within the approved time, quality and cost parameters.
