Job summary

nubo is seeking a Store Manager in Gurugram to run our outlet end-to-end, reporting to the founders. This is an owner's role, with responsibility for sales, service, team, food quality and numbers.

You will own daily operations, customer experience, team performance, quality and safety standards, inventory & cost, and store P&L. The role requires hands-on leadership and flexibility across shifts.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in café, QSR or restaurant operations
• At least 2 years running a store or shift team
• Fluency in Hindi and English

Responsibilities

• Open and close store; manage shifts, prep and stock readiness, equipment and hygiene
• Ensure fast, warm, consistent service and resolve complaints on the spot
• Hire, train and roster the crew; run daily briefings; build a self-running team
• Ensure all products meet recipe, spec and safety standards (FSSAI)
• Handle inventory, stock counts, wastage control, and vendor coordination
• Track daily sales, order accuracy, speed of service, repeat customers and store P&L
• Plan and manage bulk and event orders to avoid disrupting walk-in service

Nubo is a food and beverage brand built on one idea: 1% Better Every Day. Real, craveable food and smoothies, served fresh from our outlets every day. We're hiring a Store Manager to run one of our outlets end to end, reporting to the founders.

This is an owner's role, not a supervisor's. The store's sales, service, team, food quality and numbers are yours.

What you'll own

• Daily operations: opening and closing, shift schedules, prep and stock readiness, equipment and hygiene - every shift ready before the first customer walks in.
• Customer experience: fast, warm, consistent service; complaints resolved on the spot; reviews and ratings that climb.
• Team: hire, train and roster the crew; run daily briefings; build a team that performs without you on the floor.
• Quality and safety: every product to recipe and spec, FSSAI and food-safety standards followed without exception.
• Inventory and cost: ordering, stock counts, wastage control and vendor coordination; food and labour cost inside target.
• Numbers: daily sales, order accuracy, speed of service, repeat customers and store P&L, reviewed weekly with the founders.
• Bulk and event orders: plan prep, staffing and dispatch so large orders go out on time without disrupting walk-in service.

You

• 3–6 years in café, QSR or restaurant operations, with at least 2 years running a store or shift team.
• Hands‑on: you work the floor, the counter and the kitchen when it matters.
• Comfortable with numbers: sales, food cost, wastage and labour.
• Calm under rush‑hour pressure; clear with customers and crew in Hindi and English.
• Based in or near Gurugram; flexible with weekends and peak hours.

Nice to have

• Experience opening a new outlet.
• POS, inventory or delivery‑aggregator platforms (Swiggy, Zomato).
• FSSAI or food‑safety certification.
• Health‑food, smoothie or wellness‑brand background.
