Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking a capable IT support professional to handle break-fix issues for laptops and desktops, and to resolve hardware and software problems across models.

You will deploy applications via SCCM or Intune, manage Windows 10/11 environments, test patches, work with group policies, and address OS and MacOS issues while keeping end-user systems functional. Experience in patch deployment and vendor coordination to drive timely resolutions is essential.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and experience in handling break fix issues for laptops/desktops.
• Experience in handling hardware/software related issues for various desktop/laptop models.
• Knowledge of deployment of applications via either SCCM or Intune.
• Expertise in Windows 10/11 OS, address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking.
• Experience in testing hardware patches, OS patches and application compatibility.
• Knowledge and experience in Endpoint encryption tools like Bitlocker.
• Experience in deploying patches to workstations at large and fix any issues that may arise due to patching.
• Understanding of Group policy, identify issues related to Group policies and working with appropriate teams to resolve the issue.
• Experience in performing OS upgrade, compliance check and remediation
• Knowledge in handling MacOS issues.
