Qualifications

• 4–7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree or Post-graduation degree preferred.
• Experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations and performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive participation in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads and business conversion.
• Focus on customer engagement for new acquisitions and retention of old customers.
• Conduct valuation appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in branch with policy compliance and accuracy.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with safekeeping of pledged securities as per policies.
• Keep NPAs in control through strong follow-ups for interest collections.
• Plan for smooth branch functioning and foster cohesion within the company and staff.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train employees with timely performance feedback.
• Maintain quality performance of the business and prepare reports for growth actions.

Job Summary

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited. The branch manager is a managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing business and client base of consumer gold loan. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations and performance profitability of the branch.


• Drive participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.


• Plan, conduct, monitor the branch field level marketing activities to ensure health pipeline of leads resulting into business conversion branch growth.


• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions retainment of old customers.


• Conducting error free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.


• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.


• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.


• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.


• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.


• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and take necessary actions for growth of business in branch.


• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale etc.


• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.


• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.


• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.


• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
