Job summary

Ascension is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department in Carmel, Indiana, working PRN. The role focuses on implementing and monitoring care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and executing physician orders in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Indiana RN license, a nursing diploma, and an active BLS certification, with readiness to collaborate across teams and deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification (within 1 month of hire date).
• Diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN credentialed in Indiana or via Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
