Job summary

Ascension Health in Carmel, IN, is seeking a Full Time RN in Endocrinology to implement and monitor patient care plans and coordinate multidisciplinary care. The role requires an Indiana RN license and BLS within 30 days of hire, with a BSN preferred and diabetes/endocrinology exposure advantageous.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm, in a St. Vincent Medical Group facility, supporting discharge planning and care coordination across the team.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date.
• Indiana RN license required prior to hire date.
• Diploma in nursing or equivalent licensure at time of hire.
• BSN preferred with office clinical experience.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.

• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.

• Bachelors in Nursing with office clinical experience

• Diabetes and endocrinology experience a plus
