Job summary

Rcpc in Bengaluru is seeking a lead to manage the end-to-end procurement for construction projects. The role requires developing strategies, planning procurement of civil, MEP, HVAC, IT, and other packages, and aligning schedules with project timelines.

The incumbent will identify and qualify vendors, float tenders, negotiate terms, and ensure timely award of work. Close collaboration with design, planning, finance and site teams is essential to meet objectives and drive cost optimization while

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end procurement function for all construction projects
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost, quality, and schedule objectives
• Plan and execute procurement of civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, fire protection, elevators, IT, security systems, and other project-related packages
• Prepare procurement schedules aligned with project timelines
• Identify, evaluate, pre-qualify, and develop vendors and subcontractors
• Float tenders, evaluate techno-commercial bids, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize contracts
• Ensure timely procurement of materials and award of work packages without impacting project schedules
• Monitor contract performance and resolve commercial issues during execution
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, statutory requirements, and ethical business practices
• Work closely with project, design, engineering, planning, finance, and site teams to meet project objectives
• Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality
• Maintain procurement MIS, contract documentation, and vendor performance records
