• Oversee collections with a goal of zero overdue accounts month on month.
• Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reviews.
• Develop and implement marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience and retention.
• Recruit, train, motivate, mentor and review performance of Sales Officers, Cluster Managers and support staff.
• Identify high performers for recognition and awards.
• Evolve and operationalize sales plans to achieve value, contribution and market share targets.
• Manage channel relationships by assessing and appointing dealers and distributors.
• Identify local references for sourcing business and facilitating collections.
• Report to the Zonal Business Head and drive regional business success.

Job description

The Regional Head - Business will be responsible for achieving regional targets by effectively reaching out to and tapping into the full potential of the targeted customer segment within the specified area. This role involves driving revenue targets through the management of Sales Officers and Cluster Managers, ensuring adherence to the sales process, and maintaining productivity, yield, market share, and compliance with credit policies. The Regional Head will also oversee collections, aiming for zero overdue accounts month on month and addressing exceptions based on early warning signals. Key responsibilities include maintaining operating costs within budgeted limits for the region, collating and sharing market information, customer insights, and performance parameters regularly. The role requires conducting performance reviews on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, as well as developing and implementing effective marketing initiatives to enhance customer experience and retention. Team management is a crucial aspect of this position, involving the recruitment, training, motivation, mentoring, and performance review of Sales Officers, Cluster Managers, and other support staff. The Regional Head will also identify high performers for recognition and awards, evolve and operationalize sales plans to achieve value, contribution, and market share targets, and manage channel relationships by assessing and appointing dealers and distributors. The ideal candidate should possess strong business and collections management skills, with the ability to identify local references for sourcing business and facilitating collections.
