Job summary

Superior Group is seeking a Recruitment Specialist for Chennai (Nungambakkam) to handle end-to-end hiring for multiple clients. The role operates in a US shift (5:30 PM – 2:30 AM) with regular Monday–Friday workdays and weekend off.

You will source, screen, interview, and place candidates while building strong client relationships. Key responsibilities include meeting all client deadlines, driving sourcing strategies with the team, and ensuring high-quality candidate experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree required.
• 12+3 year diploma accepted.
• Experience with web portals for sourcing recommended.
• Basic MS tools knowledge expected.

We are hiring for the role Recruitment Specialist for Chennai location.

Designation: Recruitment Specialist

Location: Nungambakkam, Chennai

Working Days: Monday to Friday (Weekend Off)

Shift: US Shift ( 5:30 PM 2:30 AM)

In Brief:

Ensure that all staffing activities meet business requirements:

• Review and evaluate applicants eligibility as per the clients hiring requisites.
• Recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ the candidates for our customers.
• Ensure achievement of intent within the specified timelines /TAT.
• Contact applicants through Job boards, professional networking etc., to inform them of Superior's employment opportunities.
• Establish branding for Superior Group through candidates and customers.

Roles & Responsibilities

Understand Resource Requirements:

• Work proactively on end to end recruitment for hiring for our Customers by utilizing effective tools for sourcing, selection and on boarding.
• Meet all recruitment timelines successfully the multiple clients, as assigned.
• Plan, develop and drive sourcing/recruitment strategies in consultation with vertical Manager/Team leads.
• Deliver on process SLAs within the defined TAT consistently.

Manage Resource Talent Pool:

• Source candidates through networking & cold calling.
• Create and maintain assignment track sheets.
• Conduct pre-screening interviews.
• Assist in salary and hiring recommendations, as applicable.
• Hand-hold candidate to increase offer to joinee conversion.
• Work with line managers to develop and implement staffing strategies and programs (where appropriate).
• Display excellent customer service towards internal and external customers.

Effectively use Job Portals/ Networking& Referrals:

• Use Job boards (Naukri, Times jobs, Monster), Linkedin and other professional websites effectively.
• Create and maintain productive relationships; effectively network and influence candidates.
• Hands on job postings, use of mass mailing, downloads in excel etc.

Recruitment Competencies:

• Excellent coordination with clients and candidates.
• Good/professional rapport with clients and candidates.
• Constant update of current subject knowledge of recruitment best practices.
• Ability to think creatively and work with the assistance of the respective team lead.
• Should possess high energy levels and passion to work, be self motivated and have a positive outlook even in the face of rejections.
• Manage stress and be an excellent team player.
• Must possess excellent oral communication skills.
• Be open to change and think on one’s feet.
• Have a high tolerance for monotony.

Mandatory Requirements

Academic

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in any stream.
• 12+ 3yr diploma in any stream.

Technical

• Familiarity towards browsing profiles through web portals etc.
• Basic knowledge of MS tools.

Experience

• Should have a minimum of 1 years of experience in recruitment or service-oriented industry.
