Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Mumbai is seeking a lab-based professional to create new formulations under guidance from the tech manager. The role requires working knowledge of pigments, dyes, mica pigments and hands-on experience with spectral, extruder, MFI, and FTIR equipment.

You will help maintain lab equipment health, follow health and safety policies, and support QC with troubleshooting and reporting. SAP systems and ISO documentation experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Creating new formulation under guidance of tech manager.
• Knowledge of pigments, dyes, mica pigments.
• Experience with spectral, extruder, MFI, FTIR equipment.
• Maintenance of lab equipment and calibration procedures.
• Adherence to health and safety policies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes quickly.
• Support QC engineer and ensure manpower coverage.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and clean, safe workplace.
• Experience with SAP and ISO document preparation.

Responsibilities

• Develop new formulations under supervision and document results.
• Operate and calibrate spectral, extruder, MFI, FTIR instruments.
• Maintain equipment health and safety compliance.
• Assist QC team and document reports and records.
• Ensure 5S housekeeping and orderly lab environment.
• Prepare ISO documents and SAP entries as required.

Job Summary

• Responsible for creating new formulation under guidance of tech manager


• Working knowledge of various Pigment, Dyes, Polymer olifin & Eng. Plastic


• Maintain equipment health and calibrate labo equipment per std procedures with help of maintenance dept. have work experience to work on spectral, extruder, MFI, DSc, FTIR etc. equipments


• Candidate should have good knowledge of pigments, Dyes, Mica pigments and have work experience to work on spectral, extruder, MFI, other lab Instruments


• To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the companies Health and Safety policy


• Problem solving and troubling shooting skills are used to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems in hand


• To work closely with other Quality Control Engineer and support quality in case of any manpower short


• Maintain housekeeping standards 5S, to ensure a clean and safe workplace


• having Experience to work in software SAP system, ISO document preparation, maintain records, prepare reports


• Various other duties as assigned by Department head.
