Job summary

Ultramarine & Pigments in India, Andhra Pradesh, seeks a Pigments Production Trainee to support day-to-day pigment manufacturing operations. You will learn and assist in production processes, equipment operation, batch preparation, quality monitoring, safety, and production documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in pigment manufacturing and batch production activities as per SOPs.
  • Learn and operate production equipment such as reactors, mixers, filters, dryers, mills, and other process equipment under supervision.
  • Follow batch sheets, production schedules, and operating procedures.
  • Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pH, pressure, time, and agitation speed.
  • Ensure accurate charging and handling of raw materials and chemicals.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Control team for sampling and testing.
  • Maintain production records, batch sheets, logbooks, and checklists.
  • Monitor product yield, process efficiency, and material consumption.
  • Assist in troubleshooting process deviations and equipment-related issues.
  • Follow environmental, health, and safety requirements during all production activities.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in pigment manufacturing and batch production activities as per SOPs.
  • Learn and operate production equipment such as reactors, mixers, filters, dryers, mills, and other process equipment under supervision.
  • Follow batch sheets, production schedules, and operating procedures.
  • Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pH, pressure, time, and agitation speed.
  • Ensure accurate charging and handling of raw materials and chemicals.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Control team for sampling and testing.
  • Maintain production records, batch sheets, logbooks, and checklists.
  • Monitor product yield, process efficiency, and material consumption.
  • Assist in troubleshooting process deviations and equipment-related issues.
  • Follow proper housekeeping practices in the production area.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical-handling guidelines.
  • Support preventive maintenance and equipment cleaning activities.
  • Report abnormalities, breakdowns, quality issues, and safety concerns to the concerned supervisor.
  • Follow environmental, health, and safety requirements during all production activities.
  • Perform other production-related duties assigned by the Production Manager.
Educational Qualification
  • Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Freshers can apply.
Experience
  • 02 years of experience in chemical/pigment manufacturing is preferred.
  • Freshers with relevant educational backgrounds are welcome.
Required Skills

  • Understanding of basic chemical safety and process parameters.
