Job summary

Mouser Electronics, Inc. seeks a skilled staff resource to support regional Quote Centers and ensure timely customer responses. The role involves coordinating with Managers, Team Leads, Coordinators, and cross-functional teams to maintain global coverage and efficiency.

Responsibilities include identifying training needs, implementing new strategies, and maintaining clear work instructions with suppliers while tracking relevant metrics for management review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
• Experience managing a team is desired.
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with regional Quote Centers to ensure global coverage and timely responses.
• Act as a staff resource for processes and assist Quote personnel as needed.

• Develop and implement new strategies and process improvements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Products, and suppliers.
• Maintain and verify work instructions for quotes with suppliers.
• Track statistics and report to management.

• Act as a Staff resource on processes and procedures and assist Quote personnel as needed.
• Identify and define specific training needs and/or process improvements for management review.
• Assist in the development- and implementation of new strategies and process improvements.
• Communicate and coordinate with Sales, Products, and suppliers.
• Maintain and verify work instructions related to working quotes with specific suppliers.
• Track related statistics and measures to report, regularly, to management.
• A subject matter expert for all Mouser quoting processes.
• Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.
• Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent. Makes suggestions and recommendation for these employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.
• Exhibits working knowledge of sales and purchasing.
• Understands profit margins, markups, and competitive pricing strategies.
• Proficient PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software
• Excellent at written and clear verbal communication on the telephone, email or in person
• Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
• Experience managing a team is desired.
• Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
