Job summary

Mouser Electronics is seeking a Staff resource to coordinate quoting processes and lead regional teams from Bengaluru. The role involves ensuring timely responses, developing process improvements, and maintaining work instructions with suppliers.

Strong communication and leadership skills are essential. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert in Mouser quoting processes, collaborating with Sales, Products, and suppliers, and guiding a small team to achieve efficient, accurate quotes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with regional Quote Centers to ensure global coverage and timely customer responses.
• Act as a Staff resource on processes and procedures and assist Quote personnel as needed.
• Identify and define specific training needs and/or process improvements for management review.
• Develop and implement new strategies and process improvements.
• Communicate and coordinate with Sales, Products, and suppliers.
• Maintain and verify work instructions related to working quotes with specific suppliers.
• Track related statistics and measures to report to management.
• Be a subject matter expert for all Mouser quoting processes.
• Direct the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.
• Exhibit working knowledge of sales and purchasing and understand profit margins, markups, and pricing strategies.
• Proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook; strong written and verbal communication.

• Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.
• Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent. Makes suggestions and recommendation for these employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.
• Exhibits working knowledge of sales and purchasing.
• Understands profit margins, markups, and competitive pricing strategies.
• Proficient PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software
• Excellent at written and clear verbal communication on the telephone, email or in person
• Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
• Experience managing a team is desired.
