Job summary

• Launches supplier initiatives and provides product solutions to suppliers and customers.
• Leads planning and strategy for all direct marketing communications across mediums.
• Builds and implements test strategies for supplier marketing activities.

• Aligns market intelligence with Mouser's core purpose strategy to ROI objectives.
• Discovers new product marketing opportunities through strategic supplier meetings.
• Available to travel regionally & internationally as needed.
• Reports to Director of Supplier Marketing & Business Development for region.

Job description

• Researches and analyzes industry and competitive conditions, customer and supplier needs.
• Designs the marketing strategies to capitalize on business opportunities.
• Drives the process with multiple departments and suppliers to plan and launch their products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
• Must be comfortable in various settings, from analyzing data, to interacting confidently with senior management in discussing strategy, market and competitive conditions.
• Launches supplier initiatives and therefore provides product solutions/unique advantages to suppliers and customers so that Mouser is considered the preferred partner for suppliers and the preferred provider of products for customers.
• Leads the planning and strategy for all direct marketing communications using a multitude of mediums to communicate to customers, both internal and external.
• Builds and implements test strategies for supplier marketing activities, and analyze to better understand customer behavior and maximize results.
• Develops vendor partners that support supplier initiatives to enhance company's ability to meet marketing goals.
• Strives to align market intelligence efforts with the Mouser’s core purpose strategy, which will result in targeted return on investment objectives.
• Discovers new product marketing opportunities that support new designs and advanced technologies through strategic meetings with suppliers.
• Ability and experience in reading, analyzing and interpreting scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
• Available & willing to travel regionally & internationally as needed. Valid passport and other required travel documents, or eligible to obtain required documents for travel.
• Works closely with the Supplier Management Team in Mouser Corporate to develop deeper relationships at suppliers
• Identify new opportunities and both create and maintain product road maps.
• Provides the strong product and management support from region to corporate to maximize all potential growth opportunities globally.
• Works effectively while being responsible to various departments/management staff.
• Reports to Director of Supplier Marketing & Business Development for region.
• Responsible to VP of Global Supplier Marketing at Corporate Headquarters for supplier marketing specific initiatives.
