Job summary

Mouser Electronics in Bengaluru is seeking a QA leader to establish and evolve formal QA/testing practices, and to drive test automation across scrum teams. You will oversee metrics, adopt best practices, and develop automation frameworks, while guiding COE initiatives and ensuring quality goals are met.

The role requires hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Playwright) and frameworks (TestNG, data-driven, BDD), plus proficiency in Java, C#, JavaScript, and Python.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Internal candidates: Minimum 1 year as a highly performing Lead/Coordinator or total of 2 years as Mouser employee.

Responsibilities

• Establish and evolve formal QA/testing practices, test processes, methodology, standards for agile development efforts.
• Lead the QA strategy, test design /plan, test automation, and drive test execution across scrum teams.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new automation frameworks, analyzing latest tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
• Able to design & implement automation frameworks on various tools and technologies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members, along with excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to give constructive feedback that motivates & inspires a team for better performance.
• Conflict management, team building and stakeholder communication.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to clearly articulate issues and work collaboratively with PO, Ops & Dev teams to resolve team dependencies/impediments/challenges.
• Able to guide & drive COE initiatives.
• Communicate all key plans, commitments, and scope changes to stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices, with hands-on experience in various automation testing tools preferably Selenium, Playwright.
• Hands on experience in development & maintenance of automation frameworks such as TestNG, Data driven, BDD.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C#, JavaScript, Python.
• Experience in setting up & maintaining CI/CD Pipelines for automation execution of deployments
• API testing through different approaches like RestAssured, Postman.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply complex technical information to testing situations.
• Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and teaching skills.
• Able to handle conflict resolution & identify tangible goals for team.
• Able to hire & expand QA teams
• Ability to work independently within team and cross functional teams.
• Well organized and self-motivated with a strong attention to details and ability to multitask.
