Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a QA Analyst with 6+ years of experience to advise teams on testing best practices and to design manual tests for web applications and REST APIs. You will utilize Python scripting for automation and work with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium for front-end testing, while leveraging Postman and REST Assured for API checks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience in software testing.
• Hands-on experience designing manual tests for web applications and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Pytest, REST Assured).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience working with Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with QTest/Tricentis tools.
• Strong debugging, documentation and communication skills.

Job Description

• Hand on experience as a consultant working independently to advise teams on how to adopt testing best practice
• Knowledge of ISTQB FL
• 3+ years experience working as a QA engineer within an agile Software Development team for at least three years; with relevant industry certification
• 3+ years of experience in designing manual testing for Web application and REST API associated with 3rd parties
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation
• Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience working with Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc)
• Experience working with QTest/Tricentis tools
• Ability to identify exceptions in application logs and perform an initial triage for managing bugs and tests
• Understanding of modern web architecture and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue)
