Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a QA Analyst to independently advise teams on testing best practices and to champion robust quality assurance processes.

You will apply Python scripting for automation, lead manual testing of web apps and REST APIs, and use Cypress/Playwright/Selenium in an agile environment. Strong communication and debugging skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hand on experience as a consultant advising teams on testing practices.
• 3+ years experience as QA engineer in agile teams with certification.
• 3+ years designing manual testing for web apps and REST APIs with third parties.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium).
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured.
• CI/CD tools experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with QTest/Tricentis tools.
• Understanding of modern web architectures (React/Angular/Vue).
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills.

Job Description

• Hand on experience as a consultant working independently to advise teams on how to adopt testing best practice
• Knowledge of ISTQB FL
• 3+ years experience working as a QA engineer within an agile Software Development team for at least three years; with relevant industry certification
• 3+ years of experience in designing manual testing for Web application and REST API associated with 3rd parties
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation
• Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience working with Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc)
• Experience working with QTest/Tricentis tools
• Ability to identify exceptions in application logs and perform an initial triage for managing bugs and tests
• Understanding of modern web architecture and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue)
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills
