Job summary

Purview Services in Hyd, Pune is seeking a QA Analyst with 6+ years of experience to lead testing efforts across web apps and REST APIs. The role requires hands-on manual and automated testing, strong Python scripting, and familiarity with modern JS frameworks.

You will work in an Agile environment, use Cypress/Playwright/Selenium, Postman, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins, and contribute to cloud-based testing on AWS/GCP/Azure. Excellent debugging and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Hand on experience as a consultant advising teams on testing best practices.
• ISTQB FL knowledge or certification.
• 3+ years as QA engineer in Agile software teams; relevant certs.
• 3+ years designing manual testing for web apps and REST APIs with 3rd parties.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation.
• Hands-on with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver.
• Familiarity with Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with QTest/Tricentis tools.
• Ability to identify exceptions in logs and triage bugs/tests.
• Understanding of modern web architecture and JS frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of ISTQB FL
• 3+ years experience working as a QA engineer within an agile Software Development team for at least three years; with relevant industry certification
• 3+ years of experience in designing manual testing for Web application and REST API associated with 3rd parties
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation
• Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
