Job summary

Purview Services seeks a QA Analyst with 6+ years of hands-on testing experience in agile environments. You will design manual tests for web apps and REST APIs, automate using Python, and work with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver.

Strong logging, debugging, and communication are essential to triage issues effectively. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage Postman and Pytest for API verification, and work with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms to ensure quality

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a consultant advising teams on testing best practices.
• ISTQB FL knowledge is required.
• 3+ years as a QA engineer in an Agile SDLC with relevant certifications.
• 3+ years designing manual testing for Web apps and REST APIs with 3rd parties.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Advise teams on adopting testing best practices and act as a hands-on consultant.
• Design and execute manual and automated tests for web apps and REST APIs.
• Identify deviations, triage bugs, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Ensure compatibility with modern web architectures and JS frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).

Job Description

• Hand on experience as a consultant working independently to advise teams on how to adopt testing best practice
• Knowledge of ISTQB FL
• 3+ years experience working as a QA engineer within an agile Software Development team for at least three years; with relevant industry certification
• 3+ years of experience in designing manual testing for Web application and REST API associated with 3rd parties
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation
• Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience working with Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc)
• Experience working with QTest/Tricentis tools
• Ability to identify exceptions in application logs and perform an initial triage for managing bugs and tests
• Understanding of modern web architecture and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue)
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills
