Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a seasoned QA Analyst to lead testing efforts in our dynamic SDLC. The candidate will apply best-practice testing, design manual tests for web apps and REST APIs, and mentor teams on quality processes.

You will use Python for scripting, front-end testing with Cypress/Playwright/Selenium, API testing with Postman/Pytest, and participate in CI/CD and cloud environments. Strong debugging and clear documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Hand on experience as consultant advising teams on testing best practices.
• Knowledge of ISTQB FL.
• 3+ years experience as a QA engineer in an Agile SDLC with relevant certification.
• 3+ years designing manual testing for Web apps and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience working with Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience working with QTest/Tricentis tools.
• Ability to identify exceptions in application logs and perform initial triage for bugs and tests.
• Understanding of modern web architecture and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
