Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a QA Analyst to join our team in Hyd and Pune. The role requires hands-on testing across web apps and REST APIs, with strong Python scripting for automation and experience with Cypress/Playwright/Selenium.

The candidate should have 6+ years of QA experience in an Agile environment, ISTQB FL certification, and exposure to CI/CD tools and cloud platforms. Excellent debugging and communication skills are essential.

Job Description

• Hand on experience as a consultant working independently to advise teams on how to adopt testing best practice
• Knowledge of ISTQB FL
• 3+ years experience working as a QA engineer within an agile Software Development team for at least three years; with relevant industry certification
• 3+ years of experience in designing manual testing for Web application and REST API associated with 3rd parties
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation
• Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience working with Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc)
• Experience working with QTest/Tricentis tools
• Ability to identify exceptions in application logs and perform an initial triage for managing bugs and tests
• Understanding of modern web architecture and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue)
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills
