Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a QA Analyst with extensive experience in manual and automated testing for web applications and REST APIs. The role requires strong Python scripting, and hands-on use of Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver.

Knowledge of API testing tools and CI/CD processes is essential. You will work within an agile software development team, collaborating to ensure test coverage, bug triage, and quality across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Hand on experience as a consultant advising teams on adopting testing best practices.
• Knowledge of ISTQB FL certification.
• 3+ years experience as a QA engineer in an agile software development team with relevant industry certification.
• 3+ years experience designing manual testing for web applications and REST APIs with third parties.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with QTest/Tricentis tools.
• Ability to identify exceptions in application logs and perform initial triage for bugs and tests.
• Understanding of modern web architecture and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
