Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a QA Analyst to join our team in India. You will work in an agile SDLC, designing manual tests for web apps and REST APIs, and automating tests with Python and frameworks like Cypress or Selenium.

We value strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills, plus hands-on CI/CD and cloud experience with platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Qualifications

• Hands-on consultant experience advising teams on testing best practices.
• ISTQB FL certification knowledge.
• 3+ years as a QA engineer in an agile SDLC.
• 3+ years designing manual testing for web apps and REST APIs with 3rd parties.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation.
• Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• QTest/Tricentis tools experience.
• Ability to triage application logs for bugs and tests.
• Understanding of modern web architecture and JS frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise teams on adopting testing best practices.
• Design and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Collaborate with agile teams to ensure quality in sprints.
• Identify and triage bugs from logs and tests; communicate findings.

Job Description

• Hand on experience as a consultant working independently to advise teams on how to adopt testing best practice
• Knowledge of ISTQB FL
• 3+ years experience working as a QA engineer within an agile Software Development team for at least three years; with relevant industry certification
• 3+ years of experience in designing manual testing for Web application and REST API associated with 3rd parties
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation
• Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience working with Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc)
• Experience working with QTest/Tricentis tools
• Ability to identify exceptions in application logs and perform an initial triage for managing bugs and tests
