Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a QA Analyst to join our testing team. The role requires hands-on QA experience in an Agile environment, strong scripting in Python for automation, and expertise with frontend and API testing frameworks. You will work across CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms, ensuring robust quality across web applications and REST APIs.

Ideal candidates have ISTQB FL certification and deep debugging, documentation, and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Consultant experience advising teams on testing best practices.
• ISTQB FL certification and strong QA knowledge.
• 3+ years as QA engineer in an Agile SDLC with relevant certification.
• 3+ years designing manual web and REST API tests.
• Proficient in Python scripting for test automation.
• Hands-on with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver.
• Familiar with Postman, Pytest, REST Assured.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Experience with Cloud: GCP, AWS, Azure.
• Experience with QTest/Tricentis tools.
• Ability to triage application logs and identify bugs.
• Understanding of modern web architectures and JS frameworks.
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills.

Job Description

• Hand on experience as a consultant working independently to advise teams on how to adopt testing best practice
• Knowledge of ISTQB FL
• 3+ years experience working as a QA engineer within an agile Software Development team for at least three years; with relevant industry certification
• 3+ years of experience in designing manual testing for Web application and REST API associated with 3rd parties
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation
• Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience working with Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc)
• Experience working with QTest/Tricentis tools
• Ability to identify exceptions in application logs and perform an initial triage for managing bugs and tests
• Understanding of modern web architecture and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue)
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills
