Job summary

Purview Services is seeking an experienced QA Analyst to lead testing initiatives for web apps and REST APIs. You will advise teams on best practices, design manual test strategies, and automate with Python while leveraging Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium for front-end tests.

The role requires strong API testing knowledge, experience with CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environment familiarity, plus excellent debugging and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Hand on experience as a consultant advising teams on testing best practices.
• ISTQB FL certification.
• 3+ years as QA engineer in an Agile SDLC with relevant certification.
• 3+ years designing manual testing for web applications and REST APIs with third parties.
• Python scripting for test automation.
• Front-end testing using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver.
• API testing with Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with QTest/Tricentis testing tools.
• Ability to triage bugs by analyzing application logs.
• Understanding of modern web architectures and JS frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
