• Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessment and provide feedback.
• Maintain student records, portfolios, and classroom displays.
• Build relationships with students and support their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school leadership.
• Participate in school events and professional development.

Bloomingdale International School is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic IB PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our academic team at our Penamaluru, Vijayawada campus.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain appropriate student records, portfolios, learning documentation, and classroom displays.
• Build positive relationships with students and support their academic, social, and emotional development.

• Collaborate with teachers, subject specialists, coordinators, and school leadership.
• Participate in school events, professional development, field trips, exhibitions, assemblies, and other academic activities.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
• Experience teaching Primary / Elementary students.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Passion for inquiry-based, experiential, and student-centered learning.
• Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, collaborate, and adapt to different learning needs.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.

IB Experience

Prior IB PYP experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Teachers from CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge, IGCSE, or other recognized school curricula with strong Primary teaching experience and an interest in IB education are also encouraged to apply.

IB PYP training/certification will be an added advantage.
