Job summary

Pahwa Buildcon Private Limited Pahwa Group is seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee the end-to-end procurement for real estate/construction projects. The role focuses on construction material procurement, vendor management, negotiations, and strategic purchase planning.

The candidate will coordinate with project, engineering, site and accounts teams to ensure timely material availability and cost-effective procurement while maintaining thorough vendor documentation and market

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement for Real Estate/Construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendors and local market rates.
• Experience handling purchase for G+4 residential or commercial construction projects.
• Independent and capable of handling purchase activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities for construction projects.
• Procure construction materials, equipment, consumables and other project requirements as per specs and timelines.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors/suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and contracts with vendors.
• Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Site and Accounts teams for material requirements and timely deliveries.
• Maintain purchase records, POs, quotations, and vendor documentation.
• Monitor market rates and develop alternate sources for materials.
• Ensure timely availability of materials at project sites.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage the complete procurement function for our real estate/construction projects. The candidate should have strong experience in construction material procurement, vendor management, negotiations, and purchase planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities for construction projects.
• Procure construction materials, equipment, consumables, and other project requirements as per specifications and timelines.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors/suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with vendors.
• Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Site, and Accounts teams for material requirements and timely deliveries.
• Maintain proper purchase records, POs, quotations, comparative statements, and vendor documentation.
• Monitor market rates and develop alternate sources for materials.
• Ensure timely availability of materials at project sites.

Key Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement within Real Estate, Construction, or Builder companies – Mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendors, and local market rates.
• Hands-on experience in vendor development, negotiation, and procurement.
• Experience handling purchase for G+4 / residential or commercial construction projects will be preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
• Should be capable of independently handling purchase activities.

Qualification

Graduate/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a relevant field will be preferred.

Location: Delhi – Candidates based in Delhi/NCR will be preferred.

Note: Candidates without relevant Real Estate/Construction/Builder industry experience will not be considered.
