Job summary

Modern Spaaces is seeking a Procurement Executive to manage end-to-end procurement for materials, services, and subcontractors across residential, commercial and interior projects. You will focus on cost savings, vendor management, timely delivery, and quality control to ensure project success.

The role covers BOQ preparation, RFQs, PO issuance, and coordination with site teams to align with project plans while maintaining GRN and invoicing accuracy.

Qualifications

• BOQ reading and material knowledge required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel preferred.
• Experience in procurement for Real Estate, Construction or EPC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ based on drawings and material indent from Project/Site team.
• Float RFQ, compare quotations, negotiate rates with vendors.
• Issue PO and follow up for timely delivery and quality.
• Procurement for Civil, MEP, Finishes, Interiors, Tools, Consumables.

Job description

We are looking for a Procurement Executive to handle end-to-end procurement of materials, services, and subcontractors for residential, commercial and interior projects. You will be responsible for cost saving, vendor management, timely delivery and quality control.

• - Prepare BOQ based on drawings and get material indent from Project/Site team
• - Float RFQ, compare quotations, negotiate rates with vendors
• - Issue PO, follow up for timely delivery and quality
• - Handle procurement for: Civil, MEP, Finishes, Interiors, Tools, Consumables.
• - Identify and develop new vendors for cost optimization
• - Maintain vendor database with pricing, lead time, quality ratings
• - Negotiate contracts, payment terms and ensure compliance
• - Work with Planning & Accounts team to control project cost.
• - Coordinate with Site Engineers for material scheduling as per project plan
• - Ensure proper GRN, invoices, delivery challans and documentation
• - Handle claims, returns, and shortage issues.

Must Have Skills:-

1. 1. Technical: BOQ reading, AutoCAD drawing understanding, Material knowledge
2. 2. Software: MS Excel knowledge preferred.
3. 3. Negotiation: Rate negotiation, Contract negotiation skills
4. 4. Knowledge: Construction materials, Market rates, RERA, GST, Payment terms
5. 5. Soft Skills: Communication, Vendor handling, Problem solving.

Qualifications: -

• - Education: Diploma in Civil / B.E Civil / B. Com / MBA Operations preferred
• - Experience: 2-6 years in procurement for Real Estate, Construction or EPC.
