Job summary

SG Oasis in Karnataka is seeking a proactive Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement of packaging, raw materials, and general items, coordinating with production and stores. This role is based at Kanakapura Main Road with pickup and drop from Bangalore.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and familiarity with ERP/Tally to ensure timely procurement, cost savings, and accurate records across the ERP system.

Qualifications

• Graduate in commerce or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement in Retail, FMCG or Manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle complete purchase cycle: vendor identification, quotations, negotiation, PO creation & follow-up.
• Source new vendors and maintain relationships for cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Production and Stores for material requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid stock-outs and maintain optimal inventory.
• Negotiate pricing and payment terms and ensure quality compliance.
• Maintain purchase records, GRN coordination and ERP updates.
• Track market trends, pricing and cost-saving initiatives.
• Follow up with logistics for timely delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complete purchase cycle - Vendor identification, quotation, negotiation, PO creation & follow-up.
• Source new vendors and maintain existing vendor relationships for cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, and Stores team for material requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid stock-outs and maintain optimum inventory.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and ensure quality compliance.
• Maintain purchase records, GRN coordination, and update in ERP system.
• Track market trends, pricing and ensure cost saving initiatives.
• Follow up with logistics for timely delivery of materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline (B.Com / BBM / MBA preferred)
• 2-5 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement (Retail / FMCG / Manufacturing preferred)
