Purchase Executive manages the entire procurement cycle, focusing on sourcing, negotiating, and buying goods/services at best value, involving supplier vetting, contract management, inventory control, cost analysis, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining records and collaborating with internal teams to meet organizational needs efficiently and cost-effectively. Key duties include developing strategies, tracking orders, handling discrepancies, and staying updated on market trends, requiring strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Management: Identify, research, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers.
• Negotiation: Secure best prices, terms, and contracts with vendors.
• Procurement Operations: Raise purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage invoices.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, forecast needs, and optimize inventory turnover.
• Cost & Quality Control: Conduct cost analysis, ensure product quality, and find cost‑saving opportunities.
• Internal Coordination: Collaborate with other departments (Finance, Production, etc.) to understand requirements.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate purchase reports.
