Job summary

Freture Techno Pvt. Ltd. in Thane seeks a seasoned Purchase professional to manage valve procurement, negotiate with vendors and issue Purchase Orders to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidate has BE/BTech in Mechanical with 25 years of purchase experience, plus strong ERP/Excel skills. Experience in EPC/Oil & Gas sectors focusing on valve components, castings, forgings and BOM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Mechanical with 25 years of purchase experience.
• Experience in valve procurement in EPC/Oil & Gas/chemical/ petrochemical/ pharma industries is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, vendor development and ERP/Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Handle purchase of industrial valves, valve components, castings and forgings.
• Float enquiries, compare quotations, negotiate prices and release Purchase Orders.
• Develop vendors and follow up for quality, delivery and documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Design and Stores for material requirements.

Role & Responsibilities

• Industrial Valves, Valve Components, Castings, Forgings, Raw Materials and Bought-out Items Handle purchase.
• Float enquiries, compare quotations, negotiate prices and release Purchase Orders.
• Develop vendors and follow up for quality, delivery and documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Design and Stores for material requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.E. Mechanical with 25 years of Purchase experience.
• Candidates from Valve Manufacturing / Industrial Valve Purchase preferred.
• Candidates who have handled Valve Procurement / Valve Buying in EPC, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharma or Process Industries are preferred.
• Good knowledge of Valve Components, Castings, Forgings, Material Grades, BOM and Engineering Items.
• Good negotiation, vendor development and ERP/Excel skills.
