Hariom Pipe Industries in Hyderabad, India seeks an experienced Purchase/Procurement professional to manage sourcing of raw materials, spares and general items, source vendors, obtain quotations, negotiate terms, and prepare purchase orders.

The ideal candidate has 25 years in procurement within manufacturing/steel/pipe sectors, with strong vendor management, negotiation, Excel and ERP/SAP skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate/MBA/Diploma in a relevant field.
• 25 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement in manufacturing/steel/pipe industry.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle purchase of raw materials, consumables, spares, and general items.
• Source vendors, obtain quotations, and negotiate price, quality & delivery terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely material delivery.
• Maintain vendor records, purchase documents & MIS reports.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts and other departments.
• Monitor pending orders, material shortages and delivery schedules.
• Ensure purchases are made as per company requirements and approved budget.
