Job summary

Aicpinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum in Pithampur invites an experienced Purchase Executive/Sr Executive to manage sheet metal and plastic procurement. You will identify vendors, evaluate them on cost and delivery, and raise PRs/POs in ERP/MRP.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing for sheet metal and plastic commodities.
• Strong vendor evaluation and cost‑driven negotiation skills.
• Proficient in preparing PRs/POs and working with ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and identify suitable vendors.
• Analyse suppliers on cost, quality and delivery to select best option.
• Prepare comparative statements from vendor quotes.
• Drive cost reduction and alternate source development as needed.
• Raise purchase indent/requisition in ERP/MRP.
• Prepare monthly performance reviews focusing on sourcing requirements.
• Ensure documentation and compliance of commercial and contractual materials.
• Procure materials with delivery challans/invoices and terms.
• Follow up with vendors for material expediting.
• Coordinate with stores, planning, quality, manufacturing and logistics.

Job Description: Purchase (Executive/Sr Executive) Sheet Metal & Plastic commodity

Location: Pithampur

• To Understand the Projects/Requirements and accordingly identify Vendors related to Parts
• Analyse & Assess Suppliers in Order to Identify best one on cost, Quality and Delivery Basis
• To prepare comparative statement based on Quotes received from Various vendors
• To Have Cost Reduction & Alternate source Development Skill based on Organization Need
• To Raise purchase indent / requisition in ERP/MRP
• To Prepare Monthly Performance Reviews / Reports focusing on Overall Sourcing requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation & compliances of commercial, legal and contractual material procurement with relevant certificate including Guarantee/Warranty Certificates (If required)
• Must Ensure Material Procurement along with delivery challans/invoices and terms mentioned while generating Purchase Indent/PO.
• Follow up with vendor for Material Expedite.
• Coordinate with Stores and Planning/Quality/Manufacturing/Logistics team
• Documentation Process for imports/Local Vendor as per required format.
• To Understand the Projects/Requirements and accordingly identify Vendors related to Parts
• Prepare MIS of department as per requirement (Daily, Weekly & Monthly)
• Prepare PR and Purchase orders as per requirement.
• Take quotations & Negotiation with suppliers in terms of quality price and delivery & services.
• Tracking daily inventory and take actions to achieve inventory targets.
• Handling cost savings projects.
• Prepare MIS of schedule adherence.
• Vendor Audit and provide ratings band take action to improve rating.
