Job summary

Delight Industries in Delhi, India is seeking a procurement professional to manage supplier relations, cost control, and end-to-end purchasing processes.

You will oversee vendor onboarding, negotiate terms, monitor inventory, and ensure compliance. The role requires attention to market trends and strong coordination with warehouse and operations teams to meet demand. Exposure to steel sheets inspection and BOM may be involved as per demand.

Responsibilities

• Vendor Management: Research, select, and onboard reliable suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and SLAs to secure favorable terms.
• Inventory & Demand Monitoring: Track stock levels with warehouse/operations to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Purchase Order Oversight: Review, approve, and track POs from requisition to final delivery and payment.
• Cost Control & Budgeting: Analyze market trends and pricing to drive cost reduction and manage departmental spending.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Mitigate supply chain disruptions, manage vendor risks, and ensure buying activities follow policies and laws.
• Exposure in steel sheets inspection, material composition, properties, bill of material as per demand.
