Job summary

Godrej Living in Bengaluru is seeking a Facilities Operations Lead responsible for end-to-end facility operations, maintenance and service delivery across living spaces. You will ensure safe, compliant and well-maintained environments through governance, preventive maintenance and effective team and vendor leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering and maintenance teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Oversee facility operations, maintenance activities, and service delivery across assigned sites.
• Manage operating and capital budgets, including cost control and financial planning.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Develop and enforce asset-specific maintenance, safety procedures, and SOPs.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with external contractors, service partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Administer equipment and construction warranties, including defect liability management.
• Respond to emergencies and critical incidents to ensure safety and continuity of operations.
• Supervise contracted services such as housekeeping, landscaping, and security.
• Implement inventory control systems and manage procurement of spares and consumables.
• Develop technical specifications and support sourcing and administration of maintenance contracts.
• Ensure compliance with statutory codes, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.
• Maintain operational reports and share insights with stakeholders at defined intervals.
