Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and procurement of project materials, assembly parts, machinery, and CAPEX requirements.
• Handle end-to-end procurement activities from RFQ to purchase order closure.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and technical capabilities.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Finance, and Project teams to ensure timely execution of projects.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment.
• Drive supplier performance improvement and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval processes, and audit requirements.
• Manage procurement transactions and reporting through SAP.
• Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and procurement efficiency initiatives.
